Locked in a room with Kara seems like a good thing no matter what. You're content to stand back and let her order you around... things might get interesting.
A highly detailed map is spread out on her floor, along with pencils and markers and glue and other craft supplies. You have a feeling this is the project she was talking about.
"Okay, you can decide. Either help me finish this social studies project, which could keep us stuck in here all night... or let me drive your car around town for awhile."
You decide to be bold and ask, "Both options involve us being alone together?" It's important you make sure she doesn't want to jack your car and leave you here. She giggles and nods.
