You spin quickly and grab the woman, pulling her with you as you fall back into the pool.
The moment you splash down you lose hold of her – the robe itself seems to become empty and then dissolve in your hands. The world inverts as you break for the surface, coughing out a mouthful of water. The woman, soaked, wild-eyed, and grinning a mad smile surges up wielding a wicked-looking dagger.
The splashing waves turn red as she stabs and slices, shredding through your clothes and slicing through your flesh.
As suddenly as it began, the frenzy stops. The pain and the manic laughter cease. You blink, and find yourself lying naked in the shallow end of the pool. Without a scratch or a scar, the water clear as can be. The pool feels warm, as if you'd been in the water already for some time.
Across from you, the strange woman reclines languidly, also nude, watching you thoughtfully. The dagger is nowhere to be seen. "Don't worry," she reassures you. "I've had my fun. How about something we can both enjoy?"
