You drive over and park near the park.
There's the usual stuff going on. Some kids are throwing a ball. A group of college-age students are tossing a Frisbee. Couples have paired off and are lying on blankets, picnicking or just snuggling. Over by the edge a vigorous game of soccer is being played. And there are people just walking or, like you, sitting on benches people-watching.
You soon discover that you're also being watched. A thickly built Latina girl who you judge to be in her mid 20's is eyeing you from a nearby bench, and a rail-thin older blonde is walking in circles that just happen to pass right by you while giving you a smoldering look every time she passes.
