The Whipping

You take off your shirt and are chained facing the wall. You feel the first lash. You scream. You feel the second one and the pain gets worse. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. You are starting to pass out. Eight. Nine. Ten. You take twenty lashes and somehow are not dead.
You are then taken to your cell and left there. You have no contact with the world outside your cell, apart from another whipping you receive a month later. A month after that, guards rape you in your cell. After the rape, they leave you completely naked.
You are whipped month after month for the next seven years. If you are not whipped, you are raped. You never learn what happened to the rest of your crew. Were they executed? Are they being held in another part of the prison? You do not know.
