The Echidna Tale/Innocent Children

Not all of your children were completely evil by nature. Some of them were quite sweet and innocent, at least relatively speaking. The nymphs may have forcefully abducted and taken mortal lovers, but they didn't do it out of malice. The pixies, at least the ones from the seelie court, were childish and innocent and had no trace of evil in their hearts; but the pranks they played tended to be dangerous quite often, and many people mixed them up with their more wicked counterparts. Despite those small things, they were often revered and loved by common folk.
You started idly pondering about the past. Why did you create children like that? Wouldn't you rather create them to be more of your own image. Something evil and cruel?
In the end, it didn't truly matter whether they were like you or not. You loved your daughters. All of them. And they loved you back. Maybe you left their hearts uncorrupted for the sake of variety, wanting a lot of different children. Maybe you did it out of curiosity. Perhaps it was a part of some old plot of yours, to trick and confuse people. Whatever the case, you wouldn't mind creating some more of them. Not all souls that belong to you have to be corrupt and evil.
