You cook up a Russian meal that was your favorite back in the old days. You figure Melanie will find it exotic, since she's not Russian.

"You are a good cook," she tells you. "I think you should come spend time with me more often."

"I like how you think," you reply.

The two of you, after the meal, settle on the couch. Melanie tunes the TV channel to one where a romantic movie is playing.
