Talk to the Chinese

From Create Your Own Story

After you agree to talk to the Chinese representative you are taken to the Chinese Consulate. When you arrive you are escorted to a private conference room where you meet a well-dressed, balding man in his mid-30s. In perfect English, with only the slightest hint of an accent, he introduces himself as Zhang Wei, the current Trade Commissioner for the PRC in the United States. He tells you he has been empowered by his government to offer you a deal if you are willing.

After agreeing to hear him out, he begins to lay out his deal. According to Zhang, the Chinese through various intermediaries in the eastern Europe, have a gigantic supply of weapons and ammunition, and they would be willing to supply it to you and the resistance groups already in Barataria for free through an arms dealer in Albania. The weapons would make the resistance equal to the Blanca’s military in terms of armament, but could possibly fall into the hands of groups hostile to your return to power.

In exchange, you will agree to give PetroChina, one of China’s biggest energy company, forty percent controlling interest in the Baratarian oil sector. In addition, the Baratarian Communist Party, an ally of the PRC, would be required to have a hand in writing the constitution, and would also need to be in any future governments.

After he is finished laying out the deal, you shake hands with Mr. Zhang, telling him that you appreciate his support and will consider his offer
