Waste not, want not, as you presume your mother always said. One swift blow to the side of the kids head with a rock and it splits like a ripe melon, exposing the succulent grey matter that you've been craving for so long. Taking tentative bites at first, soon you can't deny your hunger any longer and begin devouring the kid's brain, decorum be damned. While you would have preferred fresher meat, even this day old brain is better than nothing.
While you eat, something strange begins to happen to you. Your mind is flooded with alien thoughts and emotions which you quickly realize must belong to the young man whose brains you just ate. Your most distinct memory is of the kid, whose name you remember as Brian, being murdered. You remember seeing a man, someone who Brian had been briefly acquainted with standing over him, a bloody knife in hand. The vision overwhelms you momentarily and you have to sit down.
