TPOW help out Bruce

"Sure Bruce I can help you out," you say with a smile.
"Thank you so much, I owe you one," Bruce replies, the relief evident in his voice. Bruce leads you inside the house through the garage.
"Make yourself at home," he says while gesturing to his house in general.
"Ali, Ali!" He shouts up the staircase. "I have to go to campus for a while. I'll be back in a few hours." He looks down at his watch before quickly gathering some papers and throwing them in to his briefcase.
"I'm sorry I don't have time to properly introduce her to you but I really have to run or I'll be late for sure. I'm sure Ali will be down in a bit. Like I said, make yourself at home and help yourself to anything you'd like." He smiles and then quickly heads out the door. You hear the door of his car slam shut followed by a quick screech of tires on pavement as Bruce hurries off to campus. You think about why Bruce asked you to watch after Ali. She is plenty old enough to take care of herself. Slowly you realize that he must be extremely protective of his daughter after losing his wife. You wonder to yourself what Ali is doing upstairs that kept her from coming down when her father called to her.
