You eat and it is glorious like wow so good. Another round of tacos and beer is ordered, then another. After eating you charm some of the girls sitting nearby and get a few numbers. LA is looking great!

Back at Steve's you spread out on his couch sofa. You're entirely too tall for it man. After the first night on it you offer to buy them a new one.

You look through the furniture outlet for a big enough couch. When you find one big enough you stop and take note of the tag. 'Constructed in Carlsbad, CA' You once knew a guy named Carl that was really bad. This can't be a coincidence. Later that night you look Carlsbad up on a map, it's just a few hours south of here! The next day you grab a bus down to Carlsbad to check it out. You like Carlsbad and decide to stay! This really feels like a true, real, accurate place. One where Carl's get called what they are and have to take it.

After a few years of getting drunk, smoking weed, and laughing about how bad Carl is you decide to buy a house in the area and set some roots down. You send for Sarah to join you, she's been in the apartment in LA the entire time doing her thing. She has a new boyfriend now since you didn't contact her for years. But your charms ultimately kick in and she joins up with team Tom once again, and after you promise to always do whatever your told.

You run for mayor of Carlsbad just 5 years later, after making good inroads with some rich guys you met in the street who thought you were a mexican wrestler. You win the hard fought race.

A week into your term as mayor your phone rings, you have a special visitor. Carl strides into your office talking a lot of shit about how he's really good and demanding you change the name of the town to Carlsgood. You can't abide this, not after everything you've done.

You lock into mortal combat with Carl once again, whoever walks away this time will be the forever winner.
