You stop pushing, and shove your foot as deep into your shoe as you can. You then retie it.
Unfortunately, your pushing was the only reason the car was moving forward. When you stopped, Ron kept hitting the gas, and the car is now well-and-truly buried. There's no hope of getting it out without a truck of some kind.
As Ron finally lets off the gas, you make your way back around to his window. Ron is sitting there, looking fairly depressed. He looks at you and says, "I guess we're walking. Sorry, honey. It's not a good start to this trip."
Ron seems pretty down about this whole mess. In fact, the bulge in his pants seems to have shrunk a bit.
Maybe you should do something about that.
What do you do?
- Tell him it's fine, you enjoy walking in the rain
