Stay in the woods until it gets dark

The two of you march even deeper into the woods.
The sky has become much darker and you cannot see more than a few feet in front of you. The two of you drop all the fire wood.
Your cellphone rings. You stop to answer your wife.
"Honey, it is too dark to walk safely in the woods. We will be tripping over the sticks and leaves. Valerie and I are going to have to stay out here until morning. See you then. Love you," you say to your wife.
You hang up the phone.
"This sucks. How are we gonna sleep?" Valerie says.
You point to a clear patch of ground beneath your feet. "We can sleep in here."
The two of you sit closely together, and your bodies press against each other because it is cold. Her hair smells lovely.
"It's freezing!" Valerie says while shivering.
