Stay and listen...

From Create Your Own Story

I stand there frozen in fascination, wondering if they're aware that I'm out here. And all I hear next are whimpers and loud kisses. Lips on the skin. Sighs. "Girls, you're neglecting me." the male voice complains. "Oh, pull him out then. Okay, big boy, you'll screw me while this cutie and I are kissing each other senseless." I listen to their stifled moans and whimpers. And thumping sounds, that keep getting faster. And after one particularly loud thump, the door of their cabin begins to open. "The door! If someone comes..." "Let them." the seductress laughs. I run away before they see me.

Oh. My. God. That did NOT just happen. Ever since I met Darren, it's like my life turned into a porn movie. Maybe he set this up.

I pull out my phone and text Darren. "Did you tell those people to have sex in the boutique?"

"Did I what?!"

"I just witnessed a threesome. In the boutique. Where you sent me."

"You lucky girl!"

"Darren!"

"I swear I had nothing to do with it. Must be a happy coincidence."

"Oh. Really?"

"Really. So, tell me... You're horny now, aren't you?"

"Oh, shut up!"

He's just impossible!

And then I see three people walking out of the store. The shop attendant looks disheveled, red in her face, her clothes crumpled. The guy is breathing heavily, but with a happy smile on his face. And the woman who seemingly dominated the threesome... she looks perfectly composed, perfectly dressed, with not a hair out of place.

Now that's a true seductress!

I gape as I watch her leave the shop. And then Ronan joins me. "Hey. We should go."

"I know... But to be honest, I'm worried. This feels too sudden."

"The boss doesn't like to waste time."

"I get that, but... I just saw something that made me realize I'm inadequate for this job. I mean, I'm not a virgin... but I'm not that experienced either. Anthony will see right through me. I will fail. And then what? Darren might take my house away."

"No. He's not that kind of a man. As long as you do your best, he'll respect you. I just hope he won't regret sending you to Anthony."

"Why would he regret it?"

But Ronan only shrugs, refusing to answer. As we head to the car, I notice how many shopping bags Ronan is helping me carry. They can't be that heavy, but they seem unwieldy.

Maybe helping him would be a good icebreaker? Do I want to help Ronan and start a conversation about Darren?
