You start to tell her about your job as a construction worker in your hometown, but before you can utter more than three words, Andrea begins sobbing and buries herself into your arm. You freeze wondering if you did anything wrong until she stammers something about her ex-boyfriend working in construction and his asshole friends. You take this opportunity to wrap your arm around her and comfort her until the worst of the sobbing has subsided. She manages a half smile at you as she apologizes for her outburst. You tell her that being sad is unavoidable and that there isn't anything wrong with crying until she wipes her eyes off and looks back up at you.
The worst part, she says, is that she can't do anything to get back at him for cheating on her repeatedly. You offer to get her a glass of water and are halfway to the kitchen when you hear her following. You fill up a glass of water and turn around and find her behind you, with her shirt unbuttoned. She grabs the glass out of your hand and pushes you up against the sink and tells you that she figured out a way to get back at her ex.
