You decided to scan the mountains anyway, when you noticed the glare of the sun off the enemy's rifle scope. Amir notices it as well, and brings up his binoculars. Both of you, looking through your respective devices, notice the sniper at the same time. The sniper had been hiding in a dark crevice on the mountains side, almost invisible. The Soviet's grin is just visible. You both realize that the sniper is aimed right for you, readying a shot for one of you. You line up a shot quickly.
