You snap awake, sitting up in the chair. You felt something... something outside... something moving.
You rise out of the chair and peer out of the latticed viewport. Nothing out there but the darkness of the cave. Still, you move closer -- are those shadows moving out there...?
You look closer...
Your face almost pressed to the transparisteel...
"Aughh!"
A hideous, winged creature sticks its oozing sucker on the window! You reel back in shock, and the thing flutters off with a howling noise. You stare after it for a moment, then run from the cockpit.
