You walk to the back of the church and find one of the doors leading down into the church's basement is wide open, and few bloody handprints and smears are on the door and doorknob. You carefully move down the stairs while keeping an eye out for potential danger.
When you reach the bottom of the stairs, and a small hallway, you hear a sound coming from your left. It sounded like a vase being smashed. You can see a room at the end of the hallway and the door is open. There is another door at the opposite end, but this door is closed.
