I eye the door opening to the right, the man is reacting early, thinking I have no choice. But I'll prove him wrong. I run towards the door, and he tries to close it in time. I stick the shotgun in and run back. The door stutters, trying to close. I untie Carol and see the man heading down to Alex's chamber. Carol tugs at my arm, telling me we have to leave now. I know that there's a good chance I couldn't beat the man, even with her help.. but it's worth a try, right? Then again, it would indeed be safer for me to run. I'm sure Alex can handle it on his own.
But I have to choose, now.
