Report them to the principal for assault

You check your watch. Amazingly, it's not even four o'clock. It's been less than an hour since school let out.
You quickly clean up and dress, shoulder your pack, and head to the principal's office. The secretary looks puzzled. "Can I help you?"
"May I speak to the principal, please?" you reply. "I was assaulted on school grounds right as school let out."
The secretary blanches and lets you in. The principal locks eyes with you. "What happened?"
"I got into a verbal confrontation at lunch with Jenna, Kaylee and Michelle," you explain. "Then as I was about to leave, I was struck in the back of the head as I was about to unlock my bike from the bike rack. I didn't actually see who did it, and the blow knocked me unconscious at once, but when I regained consciousness I was in the girls' locker room and those three were glaring at me. So, I'm assuming it was their doing."
"Do you need medical attention?" the principal asks.
"I think I'll be all right," you say.
You must not have been very convincing, because 10 minutes later, paramedics arrive in the principal's office after he makes you wait. An hour later, you're out of the hospital and have walked back to school to retrieve your bike.
The next day, you're summoned after second period to the principal's office, again. This time, the three cheerleaders are already there. "I figured it was you who told on us," Jenna growls. "I don't care. I did it and I'm not one bit sorry. You deserved it, you little worm."
The principal looks stunned that Jenna would be so forthright. "One week, suspension, for all three of you," he snaps at the girls. "And don't let it happen again! Dismissed."
They storm out, and he turns to you. "I was going to have you accuse them directly," he informs you, "but I didn't have to. You are free to go."
Word get around quickly. Apparently the three cheerleaders were disliked by most of the rest of the students, and you find yourself a bit of a hero for standing up to them. Two girls are among your admirers, and as you stroll over to your bike after school, they come up to you. They're both fellow nerds, or perhaps "nerdettes".
