Once you arrive in the village where the girls and their friends are waiting for you, they call out for your name.

Trevor: Nice to meet you Calem. I'm Trevor and all I care about is completing the Pokédex.
Your first impression of the two is that they are a bunch of retards. You are way more interested in the two girls. But they don't seem to introduce theirselves properly.
Shauna: Calem, did you know we will get ourselves a Pokémon? You, Serena and me?
Serena: Professor Sycamore gave us these Pokémon. They are really cute!
Serena revealed a Pokéball holder and putted it on the table.
Shauna: How about we let Calem choose first?
