After about 5 minutes, you arrive at the thrift shop. You walk in and find a older man running the shop.
"Hi," you begin, "I have a donation to make." You hand the man the bag of underwear.
The man begins to look in the bag. "Thank you for your donation," he says, "I'll get you a receipt, but you get a discount on anything in the store when you donate, so why don't you look around."
You don't think there's anything you are going to want in the thrift shop, but you decide to look around anyway since you are there.
