Chapter 16: Lying to Chrissy
When you get home from classes, you can't help but smile. Your roommate isn't around and that's good because he would definitely harass you about your perma-smile. The light on the answering machine is flashing and you hit the button to listen, hoping that it's Amber. You miss her voice already!
"Hey! It's Chrissy! I was just wondering if you were going to stop by tonight, I need some help with my algebra. Call me when you get home!" **beep** You had forgotten all about Chrissy for the moment, now you have to think of something to tell her. When she says that she needs help with algebra, she is really telling you that her roommate is out for the night and she wants some action.
The next message begins, "Hi Tom, it's me, Amber! Just calling to make sure we're still on for tonight. Call me!" Amber's voice renews your smile, but you still have to tell Chrissy something. While you make yourself a snack to get you through to dinner, you really give it some thought. You know that Chrissy won't fall for just any old story. She knows you better than most people, so you have to be creative. You don't want to make the story to detailed or she'll be onto you, but at the same time, you can't be too vague.
You pick up the phone and dial Chrissy's number. After a couple of rings, she picks up, "Hello!" She always sounds so happy and can get you out of a bad mood instantly. "Hey Chrissy!" She gets even happier after hearing the sound of your voice. "So what time are you coming over?" she asks. 'Here goes nothing!' You tell yourself and begin with your lies.
"I don't know if I'll be able to make it tonight, Chrissy! I told a couple of guys from class that I would have a few drinks with them down at the pub, but I'll try to stop by before I come home, as long as it's not too late!" Your palms are sweating and your heart is racing, just hoping that she won't realize that you are lying to her. To your surprise, she buys it one hundred percent and says, "Oh, that's too bad. I was really hoping to see you tonight. I had something special planned." You ask her what she's talking about, but she just says that it will have to wait for another night.
"Laura Chrissy's roommate will probably be home by the time you're done with the guys, but you can stop by if you want!" Chrissy tells you. You're not really sure what she has in mind, but you're curious to find out so you tell her that you'll be there as soon as you can. She can't really expect you to fuck her with Laura in the next room, but there is always a chance that she'll give you a blowjob.
You tell her that you love her and say goodbye, then put the phone back on the receiver. You reach into your pocket and pull out a small piece of paper with Amber's phone number on it. You pick up the phone again and dial her number. Her answering machine picks up and her voice is like music to your ears. "Hi, this is Amber. I can't come to the phone right now, so leave a message and I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I can." Still lost in the sound of her beautiful voice, it takes you a second to say anything. You finally manage to say that you are returning her message and that you'll be at her place around eight o'clock. You add in that you are looking forward to her special dinner.
You hang up the phone again and continue with your non-stop smiling. You start to get ready for your big date and after picking out some clothes that are sure to bring Amber to her knees, (preferably in front of you) you hop into the shower.
