'My husband has been divorced three times,' the blonde says, 'and each time they bled him dry. He'd probably be a millionaire if he'd never married. So when it came to wife number four, his lawyers weren't taking any chances.
'The document sets up a joint account in our name,' the blonde explains. 'If I am unfaithful to my husband while we are married then I get nothing after the divorce.'
'And have you been unfaithful?'
The blonde smiles coolly. 'A girl's got to have some fun.'
'And your husband doesn't know?'
'Oh, he knows,' the blonde says. 'He just doesn't do anything about it. I think even after all this time he still loves me. And of course, I still keep him happy. So the issue of divorce has never come up.'
'Until he started having an affair,' you say, finally understanding.
'Exactly,' the blonde says. 'Now luckily for me there is another clause to that document. It states that if my husband is also unfaithful to me, we split the money fifty-fifty if we divorce.'
'So you want to prove your husband's infidelity...'
'No, I want you to prove my husband's infidelity,' she says.
There is a loud noise from the direction of the door, like someone entering the waiting room outside your office. The blonde jumps, her eyes wide. 'I need to hide,' she says 'Quickly!'
