Make a very quick search for secret passages

You quickly pat the wall randomly, hoping a secret passage might open. Luckily, trees don't move very quickly, and you find the right spot to press before the one menacing you actually gets close enough to do anything nasty. A section of the wall slides open and you hurry away down a dim corridor.
You don't get all that far before you notice two yellow spots floating in the air before you. A low growling alerts you to the fact that the spots are a pair of eyes... and whatever they belong to, it probably isn't friendly.
