The commander enters the codes, you enter the coordinates. You face the red button.

A battle is taking place in your mind. On one side you have your loyalty to your mistress and on the other side you have the remains of your humanity. The act you're about to perform is so revolting that even the monster you have become is not sure about it. Reaping the heart out of a chest is something the beast can cope with but pressing this button makes you the biggest mass murderer ever.

Pressing the button will release two nuclear missiles resulting in the death of tens of millions. New York and Washington will be no more. Your mistress told you that it would destroy the foothold of the elders on the new world and therefore ensuring a certain victory to your revolution.

Killing a fly with a bazooka.

You don't want to do it. You won't do it.

Your hand, animated by a force out of your control, reaches for the button and releases the missiles.

Your loyalty to your mistress wasn't loosing the battle after all it was only concentrating its efforts on taking over your arm.

A void lays now where you felt love and respect for your mistress. You're now free from her will but you've served your purpose.

Your mind is lost in an ocean of suffering. Slowly you drown into madness. The guilt pulls you towards the bottom of this ocean.
