Keep pushing and worry about finding your shoe afterwards

If you stop pushing now, the car will probably get stuck again. You let your shoe slide off your foot, then squeal as your bare foot squishes into the cold mud. You don't slow your pushing down, however.
After about a hundred feet, the car is on a fairly solid patch of road. You head to your door, your feet making squelching noises.
