Ignore the woman and take what you can
From Create Your Own Story
"I'm sure you are there for a reason," you say.
"A reason!" she declares. "I didn't lock myself up, if that's what you mean."
"You predicament is your own," you reply, coldly.
Ignoring the protestations and shouts from inside the cage, you walk over to the kitchen and begin to carefully search the drawers and cupboards of the hut. It is very empty; perhaps whoever locked the woman up robbed her themselves. All find is two gold pieces and a pouch containing soft brown sand. Worthless.
You toss the sand back into the cupboard, but pocket the money, then turn to go. "You heathen! You half-wit! You half-thing!" screams the voice. "I curse you, do you hear me! I curse you, with all the power I can summon."
And that is some power, as you feel yourself weakening under some invisible pressure. Your sword-arm seems to droop and you feel your grip on the hilt fumble. Quickly, you leave the house, so the voice can harm you no further, but even after running out through the door, you now feel a little out of breath. If the curse is not lifted, you will soon perish!
Do you:
