"I love the atmosphere here!" I tell Brie, "Me too. I think it's super exciting." she replies.
Brie and I walk to the main bar, and a good looking bartender greets us. In no time, he hands us the drinks we ordered. "Enjoy!" the bartender tells us. Brie finishes her drink in one gulp and stands up. "That was quick." I look at her shocked. Brie smiles, "I'm going to the dance floor to find some snacks. You can join me if you want." "Not yet, thanks. I can't finish my drink that fast." I reply. Brie winks at me and saunters away, and I notice the bartender grinning. "I guess she really liked the drink," he says with a smile. I smile back, "She's a "work hard, party hard" kind of girl." Looking a bit more serious he replies with "Sounds like the kind of girl Darren would love to meet." "Darren?" I question the bartender. He tells me "The owner of this club. Darren Maxwell." "Oh." I reply, "Well, it's my first time here."
I finish my drink and hand him the glass. He looks at me and smiles again, "Then let me get you another drink. On the house. We love to make newcomers feel welcome." I nod, and he slides another glass across the bar. "Here you go! I'm Mack, by the way." I look at him still smiling and replied "Thanks. Sarah. Do you know what's funny? I once had a classmate named Darren Maxwell." Mack looks shocked, "Cool. Hey, who knows how many Darren Maxwells there are in the world!" "Yeah." I agree. He goes off to serve another customer, and I notice a gorgeous guy approaching me.
