Grab her keys and find her car

You grab for the keys. It takes a few violent tugs but eventually you pull them free. You move as fast as you undead legs can carry around the corner where you think you saw her coming from, and just your luck you were right.
Right in front of you is a practically brand new Dodge Charger LX in the LAPD's color's, black and white. The officer must have been in a hurry because the doors are unlocked, and you hop in lickety-split. A quick turn of the keys and the engine roars to life.
From here you have your choice of options. Heading south is a bad idea, you'd just run smack into the US-Mexico border, and have to deal with the border patrol. Your best bet might be to head for the suburbs where the cops aren't looking for you. Or you could head down to the port and try and hop a freighter to Asia. Then again you could take one of the highways and try and hightail it out of California: I-10 headed east all the way to Florida, I-15 headed northeast into the Midwest, or the I-5 headed north all the way to Washington state.
