It is 09:00 AM. Your alarm clock rings, and you attempt to ignore it. Sadly, the alarm won't stop until you deactivate it. You do so, wake up, brush your teeth, eat breakfast and put on your daily clothes. For some reason, your wardrobe is filled with the exact same clothing. This doesn't matter you though.
You step outside, and you feel the breeze of a new day in New Bark Town. New Bark Town is a small town, with not many people of your age in it. In fact, you only know 1 person that is around your age, and she is your best friend, Lyra. Speak of the devil, she's approaching you Gold, get rid of this thought immediately!
Lyra: Hey Gold! What are you planning on doing today? In the meantime, her Marill toys around with her hat.
You: Hey Lyra! I'm not so sure yet actually. I've heard that my PokeGear finally has been repaired. So I'll pick that up real quick.
Lyra: I see. Let's hope your old contacts can still be recovered.
You: Yeah indeed. Speaking of my PokeGear, shall we pick it up together?
Lyra starts to blush a little. Is she actually into you?
Lyra: Of course I want to go with you! We can exchange numbers just in case your contacts have been removed.
You nod at her, and she follows you to the Professor Elm's Lab, since he's the one who repaired it. Once you enter his building, you look for the professor himself. You don't seem to find him here, surprisingly.
Lyra: Weird. Where could he have gone? As far as I'm concerned, he always sits behind his PC playing some weird simulator of our world.
In the meantime, Lyra sees a red-haired creep lurking inside the building. She waves at him, followed by him staring at Lyra's average boobs. She notices this, and she throws a flower pot through the window, onto his head. He runs off, while whining.
You look around in Elm's Lab a little longer. You notice that one of the Pokeballs laying in a machine of his, is shaking heavily. You have a feeling something's wrong about it, perhaps it feels sick?
