You walk over to the Jacobs' house. It's a pleasant day, so the mom, Melanie, and her daughter, Sandra, are sitting outside to do the schooling. As you quietly approach, you hear Melanie say something about just finishing up.
Figuring now would be a good time to spend some time with them, you stride over to the table and flash the ladies a grin.
"Hi, Matt," Melanie says pleasantly. "What'cha doing?"
"Just enjoying the day... and the company," you say with a smile.
Sandra giggles. "You mean little ol' me?"
"Both you and Melanie are good company," you reply.
Melanie blushes. "Schooling is finished for the day. Why don't you join us inside?"
You think this is a wonderful idea, and nod enthusiastically. 3 minutes later, you, Sandra and Melanie are sitting at the living room table munching on home-made cookies and sipping milk to go with them.
