Outside the Barracks
The barracks houses about twenty-five different soldiers, all of who are responsible for guarding the castle. In times of battle many many more soldiers could be stationed here, but in times of peace like this the twenty-five men are sufficient to garrison the castle and keep it protected and safe. The barracks itself is a large structure where the soldiers sleep, eat and train. There are several other building around the barracks that are used by the soldiers, but the barracks is by far the largest building inside the castle walls (other than the castle itself obviously).
The sounds of the soldiers going about their business can clearly be heard as you approach the building. You have never been inside of the barracks or any of the buildings in this part of the castle grounds before. The ways of soldiering, war and swordplay are entirely foreign to you. Going any further would get you in some trouble if you were caught.
