You can't them then Nya can you? No... if these were they same people that hurt her in the first place they would just end up doing it again... and maybe worse. Maybe they meant to send you a warning, or maybe they were trying to kill you but didn't known you weren't home, either way these people are dangerous. You nod your head in approval, you must stick to this plan, help Nya... after all, she is all you have now.
"Nya...." You call to her as she whips her head to face you, her checks are flushed with blood from all the laughter and yipping from the T.v show. When you first found her she was timid, shy, even avoiding your gaze and now she looked upon you with those blue shimmering eyes; how could anyone go so far to create what she was before. You can't tell her what was happening, you can't take the joy she has away.
"I need to go run some errands. I would very much like it if you would come with-" Before you can finish Nya is already standing at the door with her hands cupped below her waist line. Swaying side to side shyly you grin at her; adorable, you think, so eager to please... or she just loves going out. You're not sure which one but you aren't going to hold her back.
It's too long of a walk to get the insurance building so you decide to take the bus, while its not glamorous Nya seems to enjoy it; like a squirrel on crack she zips back and forth down the isle look at people and sniff the air around them. Some people smile at her curious nature and other slide away but you can tell she's enjoying herself so you don't stop her. Till your stop Nya continues to prance around the bus like shes on a vacation.
Hopping of the bus you spot the Silicon Insurance building just at the end of the street, taking Nya's hand you travel into the building as the lady at the front desk directs you were to go.
Leaving the building you are feeling much better than you were a few hours ago. Insurance saves lives and your glad you put so much into it. 15 grand, and while they recommended you put it in your bank accounts you figure if the people that want Nya so bad will also be watching your bank account for transactions; at least this way it will be harder to find you.
Now with cash in your pockets you wondering whether to buy anything first, with so much to carry around you don't want the luckiest mugger to get away with such a vast amount.
