"Goodmorning Sir" you all say to your squadron leader. "Goodmorning pilots, we heard that the Japs attacked Midway and the airbase is under punishing fire" the squad leader says calmly. "Sir, did they use carriers?" A pilot questions "We believe so, and thats our plan. We'll attack the carriers. We will cover the TBF bombers and hold off the fighters. Then do strafing runs". There is a murmur as the mission seems like suicide for some. "Pilots, get your gear" "Yes sir!"
