If a ship does pass by, you'd never forgive yourself for missing it. Heading into the jungle, you start scouting for potentional lumber or other material you could use to build a shelter with. Fortunately, the jungle seems to have an abundance of useful things. Sticks and wood on the ground, which could be used for walls. Jungle vines, which could be used as rope and plenty of big leaves, which could be used to shelter yourself from the wind.

Unfortunately, this late in the evening, it's difficult to see where you're going or what you're picking (the fact that the trees block what little sunlight there's left doesn't exactly help either). You probably didn't even realize the Western Black Widow which you accidentally poked when reaching for a stick.

The venomous spider instinctively bit you, and the poison quickly spread through your body. Within half an hour, you died in the middle of the forest; a delicious treat for insects and scavengers.
