You haven't worn clothes while you worked for a while, but with another person on the farm, you feel like you probably should. So, you climb into the tractor wearing your uniform. You work on the fields and don't think much about it, except how hot it is to be wearing clothes. At lunch time, you hop off the tractor to go in for lunch, and as you do, your shirt catches on a loose screw and rips. You quickly unhook your shirt from the screw and walk to the house for lunch without examining how bad the rip is. When you get inside David and your stepdad are already eating. You grab some food and sit down at the table. You all talk about David's first day if work for a while. Then your stepdad asks about the uniforms. He hasn't seemed to notice the rip. You tell him that the pants are comfortable and that the t-shirt fits great. Then, you casually try to mention the rip: "I know you just bought these uniforms, but I had a little accident as I was coming in here. My shirt caught on a screw and ripped. You stand up and show him the rip, examining it yourself for the first time. The shirt ripped right across your stomach, a few inches above your belly button. It's also dirty from the rust on the screw.
You look up at your stepdad, expecting him to be furious. Instead, he laughs. He must be trying to impress David, you realize. "Well," he says, "you were going to need more than 2 shirts anyway. I guess you can make do with one and a half for now, but I think that one needs to be washed." You just stare at your stepdad for a few seconds. Isn't he the same guy that made you wear jeans and long-sleeve shirts all those years. You look over at David, who seems to be admiring your ass in the tight leggings.
"Ok," you finally say, "I'll go wash the shirt."
You walk into the laundry room and take the shirt off. You tear the fabric the rest of the way off, so you have a circle a fabric about six inches wide. You throw the shirt into the washing machine, pause for a second remembering the warning sticker that was on the shirt, and start the wash with hot water. You look at the remaining fabric and wonder if it you could wear it like a tube top. You put it on and it's a bit tight, but works. Let's see if your stepdad lets you wear that!
You run up to your room to change into your other work shirt. When you get there, you admire your new tube top. You couldn't wear it with a bra, of course, but it would be cute. You pull it off and put on your button-up uniform shirt. When you get back downstairs, David and your stepdad are gone, so you just head back to work. The rest of the day is uneventful. You finish your dinner first and go upstairs to take a shower.
