You launch the enchantment, throwing up a colossal invisible barrier between you and the thing in the grass. Just in time – for a moment later an enormous two-tailed Serpent rears up, its fangs open wide, going for your throat! But as it leaps, it strikes the wall, and falls backwards, for a moment stunned.
From your side of the wall there is little you can do but wait and watch to see what it will do. The wall will disappear eventually, and the snake will be weaker – but angrier than ever.
