You, Ron, and Woody get in the Taxi queue and wait a few minutes until it's your turn. The driver skillfully takes you the back way, avoiding traffic and saving time. The fare is $19. You each throw in $8, giving him a $5 tip.
You grab your bags and head to the check-in line. Woody asks Ron if he's going to try the $20 trick. You've never heard of it, and ask him about it. "When you hand the clerk your drivers license and credit card, you slip a $20 bill in between them" Ron says. Then you ask if you can have a room upgrade. A lot of times they'll take the $20 as a tip, and set you up with a better room.
