Big Ugly Story/Wander into the store in search of a man

You stroll into the store and browse the aisles for a few minutes. It's a pretty quiet day, as usual.
There isn't much to choose from, both in terms of inventory and males, but you do see two young men standing around looking as bored as you feel. Al and Nick graduated 1 year ahead of you. Al is a tall, skinny fella with brown hair, brown eyes, and a pitted face -- the remains of the horrible acne he had during puberty. Nick is shorter than Al and has the beginnings of a spare tire around his middle. He has red hair and a straggly-looking thing that is the result of his effort to grow a beard.
Neither one of them will ever be confused with a teen heartthrob, but you're sure their equipment works just fine. Right now, you're not in a position to be choosy. You need something to fit between your legs.
