"I would be honored to have you try my poor attempt at cooking," Dào-míng says. "Are you certain you are willing? Those who are unused to the foods of the Orient sometimes say they have unusual... reactions... to my cooking."
"I'm sure your cooking is great," you say.
"Then enter and sample thereof," Dào-míng says.
She lets you in and leads you to her kitchen, where she serves you steamed vegetables over a bed of rice. You don't recognize the vegetables, but you try them and find that they're quite tasty.
"Is it good?" Dào-míng asks. "Are you well? Are you experiencing anything unusual?"
