Way to be a wimp about it! But I would've done the same thing.
You casually go through class assisting each other when the need arises but mostly you two stay quiet and work alone. When first period finally ends you realize the next class won't be much better either.
You have Tech Ed. next (Basically wood shop.). The only down side is your teacher is an ass hole and the only girl in the class is dating someone. You don't really care she's dating someone but you don't think there's a chance with her right now anyway so you don't really try. As you arrive you know a bunch of people in class and are basically the most popular one in class.
There's only 5 tables but each of them seats 4 because they are fairly large tables. You start class off as usual with inappropriate jokes and everyone laughs and says jokes they know while you all work on your tiny wooden box the teacher assigned to all of you. The only girl in the class comes up to you and bats her eyelashes and asks you to help her out on her box. You are the best in class at woodworking but she's normally very independent. "What do you want me to do?"she puts on a shy face and whispers "I'm a bit scared of using the sander, can you do it for me please? But don't tell anyone alright?" you laugh and whisper back "I can help you out but you have to do a few things for me also. In case you didn't notice I've never had a girlfriend in awhile, could you break up with your boyfriend and date me?" you doubt she'll date you but she smiles "I've actually wanted to break up with my boyfriend for awhile now and I do want to date you.... So.... Alright, it's a deal then." She kisses you and you get to work. After the kiss everyone just stares at you and when you finally give her the box back she again and says thanks. When you go back to your table one of your friends Jacob says "Connor, what the fuck was that?! She's dating someone you know!" you just laugh and say "Yeah, me now." Jacob just stares at you in amazement and wonders how you got so lucky, after all, his last was 3 years older than him and had 3 other boyfriends at the time.
You slowly work through class until you finally get to lunch time, it's 45 minutes long and ends at 12:00 o'clock. You head to the cafeteria, buy a piece of pizza, and head to Mrs. Jordans room to play N.E.S. which one of your friends named Joe brought in. All the regular people are here along with Sarah Tredwall who seems to be gazing at you from across the room, you want to say something but you don't know what to say, or even do. There is also a hot goth chick in here that's in grade 11 but she looks like grade 9. She's got long black hair and wearing pretty much all black leather except for her steel chains. she's only 5"7 but you’re only 5"8 after all.
