Zombie Outbreak/Keep going down the road without filling up

You run out of gas in the middle of no where. You take your supplies and get out of the vehicle. Leaning your trusty bat on one shoulder you set off down the road on foot, hoping by some miracle you will find safety.

Your supplies last a couple days, then run out. You spend four bullets in a skirmish with some undead, leaving you with only six more. You start to add the remaining bullets to the revolver then stop. Slowly and deliberately you remove one of the bullets from the cartridge leaving just one. You spin the cylinder, pull back the hammer, and place the gun against the side of your head.

Click.

You pull back the hammer again, hungry and without hope.

Click.

As you ready the gun a third time, you cast your eyes around you, to the three undead you took out. This is all that remains.

Click.

You pull back the hammer one last time. You can feel it, you somehow know this time will be the last. Your hand shakes while you utter a single sob before pulling the trigger. It's over.
