From Create Your Own Story
You ask around at the gas station and find a nice trucker that will take you and your bike back home. You haul your new bike into the back of his truck and as you are climbing into the cab, the bearded man kicks you the chest. You are thrown back and hit the ground like a sack of potatoes. He starts up the engine and starts to pull away with your bike still in tow. You get up and start to run and feel like you can catch him. You start sprinting faster than you ever have and grab the rope hanging from the back. You pull yourself up and open the back door. The truck is picking up speed at this point as it goes onto the freeway. Now you are stuck in the trailer of a semi truck with your new motorcycle. You feel a wetness running down the back of your shirt, probably sweat from running. At this point, you are only concerned with how you are going to get out of this terrible situation. You are back there for what feels like hours before you feel the truck slowing down. You crack the grate a little and see street lamps, its still night. You could be anywhere, but as soon as the truck stops at a stoplight you throw open the grate and jump out with your bike. The trucker doesn't notice a thing and keeps on driving. Now you are sitting in the gutter of some random town with no money. Your vision is getting kind of blurry and your head feels strange, but you have to figure out where you are. You approach a stranger and they scream and run the other way. What the heck?
You walk with your bike to a gas station and go to the bathroom. You look in the mirror and jump back. You are literally covered in blood. You didn't notice since it was pitch black in the back of the truck, and now you realize it wasn't sweat. You faint and pass out on the ground of the bathroom. Someone finds you there and calls 911. You wake up in the hospital completely disoriented and confused. It is 3pm the next day. You ask for your bike, but nobody is responding.
"Where is my bike? Where is my bike?? Where the hell is my bike?!?!?"
The nurses don't know what to say and call the doctor in. He says that they don't know what you are talking about. He says you lost a lot of blood and are lucky to be alive. One of your coworkers walks in the door and frantically asks what happens. You can't even remember what happened, what your memories are telling you sound like a dream. A trucker stole your bike and you chased him down and got it back? Is that what happened? You need to see the bike to know it was real, or at least part of it happened. The doctors won't release you for another four days, but by that time you figure your bike will be gone. You see the keys in the bag of your clothes beside your bed and know it was all real.
