You don't want to put all your eggs in one basket. So you say, "I vote for the anti-magic devices."

"So be it," sighs Monica.

The process with the pendant and the catalyst is successful, and thousands of new pendants, shaped like the original and imbued with its power, are created and distributed to soldiers and civilians fighting the undead army. With the enemy's magic powers neutralized, the war devolves into a grinding battle of humanity using swords and explosive arrows to counter the skeletons' immunity to bullets. It is a long and tiring fight, but eventually, after massive casualties on both sides, the skeletons are driven off the face of the earth.

Only one problem remains. The leader of the undead, the ancient Inca demon, has simply disappeared. No one knows where he has gone or what he is planning. The best guess is that he is biding his time, perhaps to raise a new army or develop more powerful magic that cannot be stopped by the pendants.

You enjoy the peace that has reappeared in the world, but you know in your heart that it will only be temporary, and the demon will be back, someday. You just hope you are ready for it.
