"We have the blade," you say. "Let's just turn Patricia over to the cops. She'll be safely in custody in case we need anything else from her."

Dr. Calderon quickly nods his head. Monica looks skeptical, but after some discussion with Calderon also agrees. You, Monica, and Calderon make plans to take the Demonslayer Blade into the caverns to slay the monster.

Unfortunately, Patricia was lying about the sword you have being the Demonslayer Blade. When you try to cut off the demon's head with it, the blade simply shatters harmlessly on the demon's neck. You, Monica, and Dr. Calderon are quickly vaporized by the demon's fireballs.
