You turn to face them ready to defend you actions, your elbow hitting the door in the process, leaving the key imbedded in the lock. Before you can even get a word out your father moves towards you in frustration grabbing your arm and tossing you back towards your mother. “What the hell has gotten into you Jacob?” your father asks as he grabs a hold of the key and fights to get the door unlocked.
You mother is their in her robe and catches you as you slip off balance, her hands on your shoulders to steady you. “Easy Steven, there is no reason to get rough.”
Steven turns to say something to Stacy just as the door look pops and the door is opened. He returns his attention to Timmy’s room as a shaft of light invades the room revealing Heather lying in Timmy’s bed with him sleeping comfortably in her arms. Heather Squints her eyes as she raises her head up slightly from her laying position. “Daddy?” She says groggily.
“What are you doing in here baby?” He asks gently, seeing that she appears to have just gotten up. You think about objecting but considering you just got tossed for being out in the hall you decide against it.
“Timmy had a bad dream, so I told him I would stay till he fell asleep..,” she shrugs her shoulders a bit; “I must have dozed off myself.” You roll you eyes at the obvious cover up and catch the look on your mother’s face, one of doubt, a look of disappointment.
“Ok baby go on back to bed” He whispers gently as Timmy lays unmoving in her arms and your dad closes the door. He turns to face you and slaps up side the back the head. “Go to bed now we have a really early start in the morning.”
Your mother grabs you around the shoulders, hugging you from behind. “You ever do that to any of my kids again and you will be on the couch permanently.” Despite your mother’s intentions of protecting you, you’re pissed beyond reason and pull from her embrace, then stomp off to your room, plopping down in your chair. Your about to turn the cam that’s hidden in Timmy’s room on when your mother slips into the room and closes the door.
“Baby we need to talk.” She says as she walks over to you and kneels down in front of where you’re sitting, turning the chair slightly to face her.
