"How's it going?"
The blonde looks at you for a second, then recognizes you. "Kaya? Oh, my God!" She turns to her friend. "This was my lab partner in chemistry last year. I swear we could have burned the lab down. What have you been up to?"
Since "possessing random strangers" isn't what she wants to hear, you kind of skirt the issue. "You know, a little of this, a little of that." Now you recognize her as Samantha, and a memory of a small fireball makes you think she might not have been joking.
"So, any guys in your life right now?" she asks mischievously.
You feign embarrassment. "There's been a couple. How about you?"
Sam's friend throws her arm around the blonde and interjects, "No guys for Sam, right?"
"No, no guys for me." She gives the redhead a quick kiss on the cheek. "Kaya, this is Abby."
Abby gives you a slightly standoffish look. She seems like she might be a bit possessive of her hot lesbian girlfriend.
Samantha suddenly seems excited. "Hey, we're having a party in our apartment tonight. You should come. Let me give you the address."
