You find your brothers, as usual, in the workplace of your brother of mind. Your brothers of strength are supplying the muscle for him, as they bring in medical supplies. Right now your brother of mind is treating a leg wound of a human, the mate of a friend of his.
"Nice catch," he observes. "She's a pretty one."
"I didn't think you'd nab an elf," one of your brothers of strength says admiringly.
You smile. "Kiana, these are my brothers." Once everyone is introduced, they go back to helping treat the wounded human, and you take Kiana to your house. Your dad and mom look up from their mating long enough to compliment you on finding an elf, then resume going at it. You take Kiana to your room and mate gently, then sleep holding her.
The next week flies by. You wonder if Kiana's family have adjusted to the situation yet. The word you got is that they're still being noncompliant, so they haven't yet been unchained. Maybe seeing you with her might give them a dose of reality.
- Take Kiana to the families' quarters to speak with her father and brothers
- Wait until you get a report that they're no longer chained and have accepted the situation
