You pick up the gun and put a bullet in the raven-haired officer's head. Paisley lifts her face from the preteen's twat. Before she can refocus on you, you shoot her between the eyes. The preteen shoves the corpse off of herself, but before she can get off of your couch, you've shot her dead.
You call a creepy acquaintance of yours, Dr. Shine. You're not sure what his first name is or if he's really a doctor, but he has made offhand comments to you that if you ever happened to have a dead woman's body lying around, he'd pay generously to take the corpse off your hands.
He's thrilled when you call and a few minutes later, he's at your place examining the bodies.
"Oh, yes, these will do nicely for my experiments," he says. "I'll have some friends remove the squad car parked outside and no one will ever connect you to anything."
He gives you a bag filled with hundred-dollar bills.
"I am very pleased," he says. "Would you like come along to my laboratory? You might find what I do with them... interesting."
