You are at your house now. Your anticipation for the night’s activities has manifested itself in a large bulge that slowly throbs as you ponder.
You then notice that your answering machine is flashing red. You pace over to it and press the “message play” button.
“Hey honey,” your mom hurriedly says through the machine. “Listen, uh, we’re gonna be out all night tonight. We forgot to tell you, but we have to attend this function in Connecticut. One of dad’s old friends is getting married. Jean is at Grandma’s house, so don’t worry about that. There’s food in the fridge. We shouldn’t be home later than noon tomorrow. Love you! See you later!”
“YES!” you say aloud to yourself. Not only have you been invited to a hot party, but you are also free to do whatever you want, now that your parents are out of the picture for the next several hours.
